On my data blog Tenth Percentile, I write tutorials for people wanting to learn more about data analytics in R & SQL. My goal is to have a one-stop shop with all sorts of programming functions and packages to make life easier for those getting started on their programming journey. I also use it as a personal library of sorts so I can reference and keep track of code snippets I use often.
I think data truly comes to life with visualizations, and I publish some of the ones I’ve created on my Tableau Public profile. This one incorporates the Dallas skyline to demonstrate how the DFW population has increased steadily over the past 50 years. I also enjoy keeping up with the Vizzes of the Day for inspiration and seeing how others utilize all different types of data in their own visuals and dashboards.
